Abstract:
To provide a process for producing a male type hook-and-loop fastener having improved strength to pull.
Each piece of thermoplastic flat yarn to be formed as stem parts 3 is driven or plural pieces thereof are bundled and are driven into a base material 2 of a foamed resin sheet by using a tufting machine. The non- base material side front ends of loops are then melted by heating without cutting the loops formed by the flat yarn driven into the same holes, by which the front ends of two pieces of the continuous stems 3 are fused to form integrated and enlarged parts.
