To provide a malfunction determining device for a clutch switch, capable of suppressing erroneous malfunction determination of the clutch switch even when a foot is put on a clutch pedal at all times.
The clutch switch detects the operated condition of the clutch pedal which changes the torque transmitted condition of a friction clutch. A vehicle anti-theft device has an intruder sensor for detecting that an intruder into a vehicle exists. Thus, whether an operator for operating the clutch pedal exists or not is detected. An electronic control device determines that the clutch switch is malfunctioned (S16) in the condition that the clutch pedal is operated and in the condition that the intruder sensor of the anti-theft device detects that the intruder does not exist, on condition that the operated condition of the clutch pedal detected by the clutch switch is not changed (S13, S15).
