Abstract:

To remove malodor at low running cost and deodorize an interior space without requiring a special reaction space or apparatus.

This malodor removal apparatus comprises a spraying means for spraying water to an object space, a water supply system for supplying water to the spraying means, a chamber installed in the middle of the water supply system, and a reforming material 1 to fill the chamber. The reforming material 1 is a sintered material constituted of a core part 2 as a structural material of a formed powder produced from a ceramic powder raw material, a base layer part 3 covering the outer circumference of the core part 2 and produced from a specified mineral raw material, and a vitrified surface layer part 4 covering the surface of the base layer part 3. The specified mineral of the base layer part 3 has a physical property of the same vibration spectrum as the absorption spectrum of water.
