To provide a method for inhibiting replication of a mammal DNA by which the replication of the DNA of a mammal creature is specifically inhibited and antitumor or antiviral effects are taken; and to provide a material usable therefor.
A material inhibiting the replication, such as a protein or peptide of a eukaryote including an amino acid sequence represented by sequence number 2 of the amino acid sequence table as a material for specifically inhibiting the replication of the DNA of the eukaryote is linked to a complex required for originating the DNA replication such as an ORC1 protein. As a result, the replication of the DNA can be stopped by deactivating the original function of the ORG by linking the fragment of an ALF-C protein to an ORC1 protein subunit required for the origination of the DNA replication to shield the protein, and an excellent anticancer or antiviral agent is provided.
