Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mammography apparatus capable of thinning thickness of the apparatus.SOLUTION: The mammography apparatus is capable of performing first imaging which images a mamma of a subject on a first side in a state of compressing the mamma with a compression plate and second imaging which images the mamma of the subject on a second side opposite to the first side in a state of holding the mamma with a holding base. The mammography apparatus includes: a first radiation generation part including an electronic beam generation part generating radiation in the first imaging; and a second radiation generation part including an electronic beam part generating radiation in the second imaging. The electronic beam generation part of the second radiation generation part is arranged in a state of being inclined with respect to the electronic beam generation part of the first radiation generation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
