A man conveyor monitoring device for monitoring a man conveyor 1 includes: a PWM circuit 23b for generating an on-off/control signal of a power transistor of an invertor device 13; a common mode reactor 19 that is connected between a three-phase AC power supply 6 and the invertor device 13; a magnetic flux detector 21 that generates a signal according to whether the magnetic saturation of the common mode reactor 19 exists; and a comparator 27 that changes a switching frequency of the PWM circuit 23b according to the signal generated in the detector.
