Abstract:
To achieve both efficiency of air-conditioning control and comfort for a user in performing preliminary vehicle allocation processing in driverless transport service.SOLUTION: A management apparatus refers to a database showing at least one of an actual use result and demand prediction of driverless transport service while associating the same with a position, and extracts a potential pickup position where riding is expected. The management apparatus calculates, as predicted riding time, time which is later than predicted arrival time when an allocated vehicle is predicted to arrive at the potential pickup position, and at which a user is predicted to ride on the allocated vehicle. In addition, the management apparatus calculates necessary air-conditioning time necessary until a room temperature in the allocated vehicle reaches a target temperature after an air conditioner in the allocated vehicle is turned on. When the necessary air-conditioning time is equal to or longer than a difference between the predicted riding time and current time, the management apparatus instructs the allocated vehicle to turn on the air conditioner and continue execution of air-conditioning control for at least the necessary air-conditioning time after turning on the air conditioner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
