Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly perform connection to the transmission terminal of an intended communication partner.SOLUTION: A management device manages the connection state of one or more transmission terminals for transmitting images or sound. The management device includes: a transmission unit for transmitting the connection state of a transmission terminal other than a first transmission terminal to the first transmission terminal; a reception unit for receiving the designation of a second transmission terminal being in an off-line connection state from the first transmission terminal; and a setting unit for allowing the connection state between the first transmission terminal and the second transmission terminal related to the designation to be set as a stand-by state indicating a state where the terminals are mutually waiting the start of a session.
