PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a general charging device to inhibit charging of an improper apparatus, without adding new structure or processing.SOLUTION: An apparatus 20 equipped with a secondary battery 214 has its own identification information for identifying the apparatus, acquires apparatus charging propriety information 11 indicating propriety of charging of the apparatus from an apparatus management server 10, and determines propriety of charging of the apparatus on the basis of the identification information of the apparatus and the apparatus charging propriety information 11.
