An individual prescribed position is set so that the individual work hours information such as a date and time of arrival and departure is printed on a time card 1, the individual work hour information is printed at the individual prescribed position of the time card 1 and within a range of the specified number of dots by every second character individual by a time recorder 2, the individual work hours information printed on the time card 1 is read by every dot on a two-dimensional line by a reader 3, the individual work hours information read by the reader 3 is recognized/digitized from presence/absence of the dots on the two-dimensional line by every prescribed range or every character by a computer 4 and works of every single person are totaled and managed by the digitized information.
