PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manipulation device that offers improved operability.SOLUTION: A manipulation device 1 roughly comprises: a touch pad 3 configured to detect manipulation performed on a manipulation surface 31 by a user and output a detection value S; and a controller 5 provided with a threshold value 50 for assessing the manipulation and configured to determine, when manipulation is detected based on the detection value Sreaching or exceeding the threshold value 50, whether the detected manipulation was intended by the user or not in accordance with a predefined condition, and, if the detected manipulation was intended by the user, adjust the threshold value 50 to suite manipulation detection thereafter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
