Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manipulator for a folding table in which operations for disengaging engagement means for maintaining both a using position and a rising position with a manipulating lever are simplified and safety during the operations is improved when turning a table top which can be held at both positions.
SOLUTION: Left and right frames 8a and 8b opening their upper surfaces are pivotally attached on the upper ends of both leg poles 4a and 4b. The table top 2 is mounted over a front frame 9a similarly opening its upper surface for connecting the front portions of the left and right frames 8a and 8b, and over the left and right frames 8a and 8b. The engagement means are respectively interposed between the left and right frames 8a and 8b and between both the leg poles 4a and 4b. Then, both the left and right engagement means and a manipulating lever 36 are connected by left and right wires W1 and W2, and both the wires W1 and W2 are arranged within the left and right frame 8a and 8b and the front frame 9a.
