Abstract:

To provide a manned-cum-unmanned forklift capable of reducing manufacturing cost, capable of carrying out brake operation in the same feeling as a manned forklift, and capable of safely and surely stopping emergently upon establishing non-energization state in a time of emergency during unmanned operation.

A manned-cum-unmanned forklift has a snatch lock device 41 locking a locking rod 40 and fixing a link mechanism, a release lever 411, a switching means 45 arranging the release lever 411 to a release position during manned operation and arranging the release lever 411 to a locking position during unmanned operation, and an emergency stop button 52, the switching means 45 has a spring 43 for the release lever biasing the release lever 411 to a releasing position and an electric pulling means 42 pulling the release lever 411 to a locking position, a control device 50 does not pull the release lever 411 by the pulling means 42 during manned operation, pulls the release lever 411 by the pulling means 42 during unmanned operation, and stops power supply to the pulling means 42 when emergency stop button 52 is pushed.
