Abstract:
New Mannich bases are claimed, which are prepared using phenolic compound(s) containing a 3-hydroxy- or 3-hydroxy-5-methyl-phenyl group and also formaldehyde and polyamine(s). New Mannich bases are claimed, which are prepared using phenolic compound(s) of formula (I) and also formaldehyde and polyamine(s). [Image] R 1>H or CH 3 . Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) preparation of a Mannich base by reacting phenolic compound(s) with formaldehyde in the presence of a tertiary amine in a first stage and then reacting with polyamine(s) in a following stage; (2) hardener components for a 2-component epoxide or polyurethane system, which contain the Mannich base; (3) epoxide or polyurethane system containing the Mannich base; (4) cured produced obtained from such a system.
