To provide a manual bicycle capable of smoothly rotating a front wheel in the forward direction and retracting a bicycle body.
The manual bicycle comprises a rear wheel 4 rotatably provided at a rear portion of a bicycle body 1, a handlebar post 30 turnably provided on a front portion of the bicycle body, a front wheel 35 rotatably provided on a lower portion of the handlebar post, a swing-enabling shaft 41 rotatably provided on an upper portion of the handlebar post, a handlebar unit 42 attached to the swing-enabling shaft and swung in the longitudinal direction of the bicycle body to rotate the swing-enabling shaft forward and backward, a driving mechanism 47 to output the rotational force to drive the front wheel only in the bicycle body advancing direction by rotating the swing-enabling shaft forward and backward, a first driving wheel 58 to transmit the rotational force output from the driving mechanism to the front wheel, and a clutch 65 which is provided between the first driving wheel and the driving mechanism to block the transmission of the power from of these components to the other.
