A manually charging mechanism 16 in a power supply 12 is provided with: a motor apparatus 21 for rotating a rotating shaft 23 by a drawing operation and a rewinding operation of a cable 27 by a user and generating power; and a second power generating mechanism 30 having a power generating section disposed within a handle 22 for drawing and operating the cable 27 and generating power from an oscillation by the drawing operation by the user and the rewinding operation of the cable 27. A plurality of the power generating mechanisms (=the motor apparatus 21 and the second power generating mechanism 30) are operated by a single charging operation when the handle 22 is gripped and the cable 27 is drawn, and a secondary battery 15 can be charged. Since the secondary battery 15 can be efficiently charged by a plurality of the power generating mechanisms, a charging time can be reduced.
