To rotate the surface of a cleaning pad by merely pushing it slidingly on a cleaning surface manually at the time of cleaning operation.

A vertical revolving shaft 3 is supported in the center of the lower face of a manual operating board 1, and at the lower end of the shaft, an attaching plate 4 is fixed which is mounted with a cleaning pad member 5 on the lower face. In the center part of the vertical revolving shaft, a bevel gear 6 is fitted; near the outer edge of the manual operating board, a friction rotary body 8 rotatable by friction with a surface to be cleaned is axially supported by a horizontal rotary shaft 9, and is so structured as the cleaning surface (bottom face) of the pad member 5 is flush with the outer circumferential face of the body 8; at the tip end of the horizontal rotary shaft, a bevel gear 10 is integrally provided engagedly with the bevel gear 6, so that the rotational force of the friction rotary body is transmitted to the vertical rotary shaft, rotating the pad member on a cleaning surface and polishing it.
