Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely open and close a sash for a double sliding open-close type window by a manual operation at a position separated from the window even by a person incapable of approaching the window such as a sick person, an injured person, a physically handicapped person or the like.
SOLUTION: A traveling body 12 and suspending frames 13 are installed to unit frames 10 mounted on a sash mounting frame 1, and running blocks 14 to 17 are arranged on both sides of the upper sections of the suspending frames 13 and fixed blocks 18, 21 and 22 on both end sides of the unit frames 10 respectively. A manual long-distance open-close device for the sash is constituted so that operating strip materials 30, in which both ends are fixed to the unit frames 10 or the suspending frames 13, are stretched to the running blocks 14 to 17 and the fixed blocks 18, 21 and 22 and the intermediate sections of the stretched operating strip materials 30 are drawn out to the outsides of the unit frames 10 through first and second strip-material drawing-out mechanisms 19 and 20.
