PURPOSE: To facilitate a tightening operation in a small place, using a device in which a top is rotated via a power mechanism by rotation of a ratchet type hand manual operated handle so as to tighten a member to be tightened, by mounting a stopper portion and a grip portion on a main body while making their relative positions adjustable.
CONSTITUTION: To fix a rail bracket 2 by tightening a nut 5 around an anchor bolt located on the right of a guide rail 6, a handmanual operated power tightening device 8 is placed on the right of the guide rail 6, the nut 5 is fitted into a mating recess 14A in a top 14, a stopper portion 12 is made to abut to the guide rail 6, and a grip portion 9 is set to take an easily handleable position; i.e., the grip portion 9 is rotated and released from the state of being fixed to a main body 13 by an annular fixing member 15, is then moved in the circumferential direction of the main body 13 to determine the easily handleable position, and is held in position thereafter. The grip portion 9 is thereafter held by one hand and a ratchet type handmanual operated handle 10 is rotated by the other hand to tighten the nut 5.
