Abstract:

To prevent occurrence of a major accident by releasing the interlocking condition by mistake during the normal operation of the switch.

The manual operation device of a switch is equipped with a shutter plate for covering the manual operating shaft and an interlocking mechanism. And only when the interlocking conditions are met, the engagement of the interlocking pin and the shutter plate are released, and by moving the shutter plate and combining the manual operating handle with the manual operating shaft, the manual operation of the switch becomes possible. A shutter plate that is positioned in front of the interlock pin and prevents its operation during normal operation of the switch is provided. Thereby, it prevents the interlock pin from being pushed by mistake and the interlocking condition from being released.
