To provide a manual operation device usable in both forms of a form of pulling a wire connected to an automatic closing device and a form of loosening the wire, and capable of returning an operation lever to an initial state position.
A slide member 11 connected with one end side of the wire 15 connected to the shutter automatic closing device 13 for closing a shutter, is movably arranged in the direction for pulling the wire 15 and the direction for loosening the wire 15. A slidingly moving means 21 is arranged for moving the slide member 11. A locking member 17 is arranged for freely locking the slide member 11, and an unlocking means 41 is provided for releasing locking of the slide member 11. The locking member 17 is arranged so as to be automatically lockable when the slide member 11 moves in the pulling direction.
