Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual pencil sharpener which is capable of adjusting the thickness and length of a lead by changing a position for sharpening a pencil through transferring a cutter holder with a mounted cutter.
SOLUTION: The manual pencil sharpener is of such a structure that a lead contact protuberance which comes into contact with a pencil lead is set protruding on an innermost side opposite to an aperture of a case body with the aperture for pencil insertion, and that the cutter holder having a conical pencil inserting hole and a fitted flat plate-shaped cutter is mounted between the aperture and the lead contact protuberance in such a way that the cutter holder is transferable in the axial direction of the pencil.
