Abstract:
Manual Taping Implement An improved manually operated taping device provides for control of the leading end or a tape being applied, which may be obtained by has a drawback mechanism to draw back the landing end of the tape immediately after the tape is cut or a brake action or adhesive grip or both and may also include controlled tape cutting action and a safety cutting knife retaining mechanism. The device may also include a guide to better ensure the device is moved during tape application in the direction relative movement between the tape and device.
