To provide a manual transmission which prevents the deterioration in a gear intake force through the acceleration of the production of gear intake force by reducing a gap in a spline tooth surface when a gear piece and a sleeve are inclined by making a major diameter side larger than an minor diameter side with respect to a taper angle for slip-off prevention of a gear so as to advance the timing of mutual contact of taper surfaces for slip-off prevention of a gear.
A manual transmission is formed by meshing a gear piece 1, (2) containing a gear piece spline 9 with a sleeve 6 containing a sleeve spline 8, wherein the taper angles θ1, θ3 of major diameter sides 91, 81 of the gear piece spline 9 and sleeve spline 8 are formed wider than taper angles θ2, θ4 of minor diameter sides 92, 82.
