Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual valve capable of suppressing leakage of fluid in closing a valve, and suppressing damage to a valve body and a valve seat.SOLUTION: A manual valve 10 includes: a main body 11 provided with a flow passage for fluid and a valve seat 12 thereinside; a valve body 13 closing the flow passage by contacting with the seat valve 12; a rotatable handle 40; and a drive mechanism advancing or retreating the valve body 13 with respect to the valve seat 12 on the basis of rotation of the handle 40. The drive mechanism includes an elastic member 33 that is elastically deformed by rotating the handle 40 by a predetermined amount from the state where the valve body 13 contacts with the valve seat 12, and generates elastic force for contacting the valve body 13 to the valve seat 12 with predetermined force.
