PURPOSE: To lessen edge-sagging and cloth clogging by forming a sheet, in which unwoven cloth is fixed as integrated body by a polyurethane porous material internally having innumerable tiny stomas, by slicing the sheet in a prescribed thickness, by soaking this sheet in the water solution containing a polyurethane solvent and a melamine resin, by drying it, and by curing it.
CONSTITUTION: High density unwoven cloth consisting of a synthetic fiber is impregnated with polyurethane solvent solution, solidified in a wet manner, and dried in order to form a sheet, in which unwoven cloth is fixed as an integrated body by a polyurethane porous material internally having innumerable, tiny stomas. The sheet is then sliced in a prescribed thickness. Next, the sheet is soaked in the water solution containing polyurethane solvent and a melamine resin, dried, and cured, thereby obtaining abrasive cloth as desired.
