Abstract:
1. Process for the preparation of aromatic compounds, which are substituted by radicals containing fluorine, of the formula see diagramm : EP0084128,P11,F1 in which R**1 represents a CF3 or CF3 O radical or, together with R**2, forms an -OCF2 O-, -O-CHF-CF2 -O-, -O-CF2 CFCl-O- or -O-CF2 -CF2 -O- group, R**2, R**3 and R**4 are the same or different and denote hydrogen, halogen, hydroxyl, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy or aroxy and R**5 represents an optionally substituted alkyl radical, characterized in that aromatic compounds of the formula. see diagramm : EP0084128,P11,F2 in which R**6 represents a CF3 , CF2 Cl, CCl2 F, CCl3 or CF3 O radical or, together with R**2, forms an -OCF2 0-, -O-CHF-CF2 -O-, -O-CF2 CFCl-O- or -O-CF2 -CF2 -O-group, and R**2, R**3 and R**4 have the abovementioned meaning, are reacted with an alkylation agent in the presence of hydrogen fluoride in the temperature range from O to 1508C.
