PURPOSE: To provide an aluminum alloy pipe that is made highly accurate in surface roughness and in roundness, etc., when it is finished by roller burnishing.

CONSTITUTION: When an aluminum alloy pipe manufactured by hot extrusion or drawing method is to be finished by roller burnishing, a roller is placed every 5.5mm or less on the circumference of the pipe when the outside diameter of the aluminum alloy pipe is not less than 10mm and less than 20mm. When the outside diameter of the pipe is not less than 20 mm and less than 23mm, a roller is placed every 8mm or less on the circumference of the pipe; when the outside diameter is not less than 23mm, a roller is placed every 9mm or less on the circumference of the pipe, to perform roller burnishing.
