Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing aluminum brazed articles having excellent corrosion resistance which is capable of reducing a cost and preventing the local corrosion of a brazing filler metal.
SOLUTION: This process for producing the aluminum brazed articles consists brazing articles to be brazed which are formed by using brazing sheets provided with aluminum brazing filler metals 1 contg. Si by heating to the surfaces of an aluminum core material 2 and then executing cooling treatment. The cooling treatment in this process is executed by subjecting the brazed articles to a first cooling treatment of cooling the articles down to a first cooling temp. region in a range of 548 to 577°C from the brazing temp. at a cooling rate of 3 to 15°C/min, then to a second cooling treatment of cooling the articles from the first cooling region down to a second cooling region in a range of 350 to 470°C at a cooling rate of 20 to 60°C/min.
