Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an amino plastic from which a particle board releasing no formaldehyde and excellent in mechanical properties can be manufactured by adding 2-uleide-4,6-diamino-1, 3,5-triazine.

CONSTITUTION: An amino plastic resin is formed by adding (B) 0.1 to 10wt.% 2-uleide-4,6-diamine-1,3,5-triazine, obtained by reacting melamine with urea in o-cresol, and preferably (C) 10% or less melamine to the weight of (A) an amino plastic resin solution during, e.g. the synthesis of the amino plastic resin. The amino plastic resin is used as a binder to form a particle board.
