Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily manufacture the title body with superior lubricity, hardness, electrically insulating properties and corrosion resistance by dispersing lubricating solid particles in Al powder; sintering the dispersion; and anodic-oxidizing the resulting sintered Al composite body. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of lubricating solid particles such as graphite, BN, MoS2 and WS2 are mixed with Al powder while agitating to be dispersed in the powder. The dispersion is then compression-molded into a predetermined shape and sintered with a usual sintering apparatus. The resulting sintered body is optionally worked into a desired shape by cutting or other method, pretreated by usual degreasing, etc., and anodic-oxidized to form a hard anodic oxide film.
