Abstract:
1. Process for the synthesis of aromatic isocyanates by reacting aromatic nitro derivatives with carbon monoxide, characterised in that the reaction is conducted in the presence of a catalyst consisting of one or more porphyrin metallic complexes the metals of which belong to group VIII and/or IB of the periodic classification of elements.
