PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture of a ceramic crown manufacturing press tool from a metal piece blank using a reproducing machine, for example, by expanding an article linearly so as to deform the profile of the article in connection with the corresponding profile of a model in use.

CONSTITUTION: First and second devices 1 and 2 disposed rotatably in a housing 3 hold a model M' on a chuck 1a and a blank on a chuck 2a, and move in the longitudinal direction of a main body 5 through a linkage system 4 according to a magnification. On the other hand, second and third devices 24 and 25 which hold a probe 24a opposed to a model M and a tool 25d opposed to the blank are installed to a link 26 moved angularly about a rotating shaft 29 through link arms 27 and 28 in the relation of distances D and C. By the copying movement of the probe 24a relative to the model M', the tool 25d is magnified and moved in the relation of C/D, and the linearly magnified profile K' of an article KR' can be obtained. Thus the linear magnification/deformation of the article can be performed accurately.
