Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration and noise and ensure durability by preventing respective center shafts of a hollow shaft and a gear from not matching with each other.
SOLUTION: In a condition in which a gear 3 is fitted around an end part of a hollow shaft 2 and a plurality of cam lobes 4, 4 are fitted around an intermediate part, the diameter of the hollow shaft 2 is enlarged, and the gear 3 and the cam lobes 4, 4 are fixed to the hollow shaft 2. Fixing work is carried out in such a way that the gear 3 is fitted around the end part of the hollow shaft 2, the diameter of the hollow shaft 2 end part is enlarged by means of a first pipe enlarging punch, and respective cam lobes 4, 4 are fitted around. A second pipe enlarging punch is pushed into the hollow shaft 2 from a side opposite to the first pipe enlarging punch in order to fix the respective cam lobes 4, 4.
