Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method of an austenitic stainless steel strip, in which surface roughening is not developed at the time of cold-forming, related to the manufacturing method of the austenitic stainless steel cold-rolled strip through a twin roll type continuous caster.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of casting the cast strip by the inner part water cooling twin roll type continuous caster, average heat flow speed in the cooling roll is made to be ≥750×104Kcal/m2h°C to execute the casting and the obtd. cast strip is cold-rolled.
