Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a boot in which coating of a waterproof layer is easily applied to seams between the upper end edge of a shoe upper member and the downside peripheral edge of the upper leather member.
SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a boot, the boot is equipped with the upper leather member 10, a shoe upper member 20 and a bottom member 50. Firstly, the upper leather member 10 is continuously joined to the shoe upper member 20 and waterproof coating is applied to the seams 23 thereof so as to become waterproof structure and then the bottom member 50 is continuously joined. The bottom member 50 is constituted by overlapping an inner sole and an outer sole.
