Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a braided tube of excellent flexibility without polluting the working environment with solvents.
CONSTITUTION: In a method of manufacturing a braided tube, comprising braiding a sleeve using a braiding machine 3, processing the sleeve continuously with silicon rubber, and then heating and hardening the sleeve, the silicon rubber contains no solvent therein and its viscosity is 15,000 to 40,000cp. The manufacturing device therefor comprises the braiding machine 3, a silicon-rubber imparting device 4, a heating furnace 5, a take-up pulley 7 and a winding device 8, and the silicon-rubber imparting device 4 comprises a cylindrical body 41, a nipple 42, a dice 43 and a tank 44.
