PURPOSE: To eliminate necessity of an inner stopper and to make opening of a can possible without using a can opening tool by forming a small columnar projection on the end plate member of the can, and forming a threaded part on the projection, then forming a loop-shaped weakened part that becomes a port for taking out the content.

CONSTITUTION: By making repeated drawing works on an end plate member 1 of a can made of a flat metallic sheet, a small columnar projection 10, a tapered part 11 and a folded part 13 are formed finally. Then, roll dies are abutted inside and outside of the projection 10 and a threaded part 23. After forming the threaded part 23, a mortar-shaped female die 32 having a circular concavity 31 is inserted into the projection 10. A cylindrical male die 34 is abutted vertically fro outside of the end face of the projection 10 to form a reinforced part 35. A loop-shaped weakened part 41 is formed at the same time. The weakened part 41 can be broken and opened by pressing with a finger tip etc. to form an opening for taking out the content.
