PURPOSE: To easily obtain card roller rings while guaranteeing a correct operational characteristic by winding a sawtooth wire onto a tube of multiple ring length and separating the tube into individual card roller rings after specific treatment.

CONSTITUTION: A sawtooth wire 3 is wound onto a tube 1 of multiple ring length (a), the tip end 4 and the tail end 5 of the wire are fixed to the tube 1 with screws 6. The teeth of the sawtooth wire 3 are removed so that plunge- cut grooves 9 in the circumferential direction are formed at a mutual interval (a) using a plunge-cut grinding disk, the foot part of the sawtooth wire is fixed to the tube 1 along a zigzag line 10 within the range of the plunge-cut grooves 9. The grooves 9 are cut along the central line of the grooves, and the tube 1 is separated into individual card roller rings 2.
