Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a sign panel part and a card itself from warping and being distorted by a method wherein a paper sign panel is laminated to some part of a plastic sheet and imbedded under heat and pressure so as to be flush with the plastic sheet and, after being moistened, dried.
CONSTITUTION: To the respective surfaces of bone white polyvinyl chloride layers 1 and 2 composed of core materials of cards, transparent resin layers 3 and 4 made of transparent polyvinyl chloride layer or the like are integrally laminated through adhesive so as to form card base material. Further, a paper sign panel 5 is bonded through adhesive to the top surface of the transparent resin layer 4 of the card base material and imbedded in the transparent resin layer 4 under heat and pressure with a hot pressing device so as to be flush with the resin layer 4. After that, the sign panel 5 is moistened by spraying water mist W on the top surface of the sign panel 5 and then dried as it is in the atmosphere having a temperature of 50-60°C so as to produce the aimed card with the sign panel.
