Abstract:
PURPOSE:To generate a shielding effect and to prevent a plastic-made case for protecting magnetic recording materials from influence due to electromagnetic waves arrived from an external field by plating the whole inside of the case by vapor deposition. CONSTITUTION:The whole inside of the plastic-made case for protecting magnetic recording material cassette tapes, video tapes, magnetic cards, or magnetic disks is plated by vapor deposition. Consequently, a shielding effect equivalent to that of a metallic case is obtained and recorded magnetic recording signals can be stored for a long period.
