PURPOSE: To always make molten metal level constant and to manufacture cast wire having good quality by supplying casting raw material while linking with wire speed of the cast wire let out from a mold at the time of making the cast wire through the mold by supplying the casting raw material into a crucible in a heating furnace.

CONSTITUTION: The casting raw material 10 is supplied into a crucible 14 in the heating furnace 12 and heated with a heater 16 in the furnace to make the molten metal 18. This molten metal 18 is pushed out through the mold 22 heated with a heater 20 fitted with the crucible 14 and directly cooled with the cooling water 26 as the casting wire 24 and wound into the winding machine 30 through the drawing-in machine 28. Then, by driving a driving motor 38 for pinch roller 36 hauling in the casting raw material 10 through the signal obtd. from drawing speed of a drawing machine 28, the hauling speed is linked with the wire speed of the cast wire 24. By this method, the molten metal 18 level in the crucible 14 is always held to the constant and the cast wire 24 having good quality without any variation of outer diameter is formed.
