Abstract:

Very finely divided polymers of low bulk density are obtained if the polymerisation and copolymerisation of 1-olefins is carried out by means of a catalyst component prepared by subjecting the solid, hydrocarbon-washed product of the reaction of a magnesium alkoxide with TiCl4 to shear treatment.
