PURPOSE: To make it possible to highly accurately and efficiently weld a heater and a heater support by moving and abutting the top part of a heater to the reference surface of a positioning support base with an inactive gas blown to a lead part.
CONSTITUTION: A heater support 6 is provided to the given position on the electrode surface of an upper side electrode 14, and also a lead part 5a is placed on a lower electrode 12, and an inactive gas 19 is strongly blown to the part 5a. Upon which, a heater 5 is moved in the direction of the reference surface 17 of a positioning support base 16, and the top part 5b of the heater 5 is surely abutted on the surface 17 to be positioned to the electrode 12 with high accuracy. Then the electrode 14 is lowered in such a condition, the part 5a and the support 6 are overlapped each other to be welded with pressure, and resistance welding is made. Moreover when a groove part 20 is provided on the electrode surface of the electrode 12 and the part 5a is arranged in the part 20, highly accurate welding can be stably performed.
