To provide a manufacturing method of a cell partition for a plasma display panel which is capable of forming the cell partition accurately, inexpensively and simply even in the case of increasing an aspect ratio.

After a mold sheet 12 having a recessed part corresponding to a projecting shape of a cell partition 33 is provided, a partition forming sheet 11 is obtained by filling a glass paste 13 in the recessed part of the mold sheet 12, and then by such a process that the partition forming sheet 11 is brought into contact with a substrate 31 and baked, the mold sheet 12 is decomposed and removed, and the cell partition 33 is formed on the substrate 31 by sintering the glass paste 13.
