PURPOSE: To prevent static electricity from appearing on a ceramic green sheet when the ceramic green sheet is peeled off from a film by impregnating ceramic slurry with a surface-active agent.
CONSTITUTION: First, ceramic slurry containing ceramic powder, a binder, an organic solvent, and a surface-active agent is prepared. This ceramic slurry is molded on a carrier film to obtain a ceramic green sheet. Then, the ceramic green sheet is peeled off from the carrier film and a plurality of the ceramic green sheets are stacked to manufacture a ceramic electronic component. The amount of the surface-active agent to be added should be 0.05-1.0wt.% to the ceramic powder. By this method, static electricity is prevented from appearing on the ceramic green sheet and thereby a failure in stacking of the green sheets due to static electricity can be avoided and printing on the green sheets can also be performed efficiently.
