PURPOSE: To enable the periphery of a ceramic green sheet which is peeled off a base film to be enhanced in strength by a method wherein the periphery of a ceramic green sheet which is smaller than a prescribed value in thickness, provided with inner electrodes, and peeled off a base film is made to include a dummy layer formed on the periphery of the inner electrode.
CONSTITUTION: A thin ceramic green sheet 2 as thick as 10μm is formed on a base film 1. Inner electrode layers 3 are formed on the center of the ceramic green sheet 2. At this point, conductive paste of the same Ag/Pd alloy with the inner electrode layers 3 is evenly printed on the periphery of the thin ceramic green sheet 2 where the inner electrode layers 3 are formed for the formation of a dummy layer 4. Then, a base film 1 is placed and fixed on a suction plate by suction, the region of the ceramic green sheet 2 where the dummy layer 4 is formed is blanked out and separated off the base film 1 as vacuum-sucked. Thereafter, the ceramic green sheet separated off a base film is released from vacuum suction and put in a molding die.
