Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make such a ceramics superconductor film that is high in critical current density Jc manufacturable in an efficient manner by installing at least one type element, constituting a ceramics superconductor, or a material layer containing the element interposingly on the surface of a substrate in advance.

CONSTITUTION: An optional-form compact consisting of stabilized zirconia, alumina, SrTiO3 or the like is used for a substrate, and on this substrate surface, there is interposingly provided with such an element as Ba low in vapor pressure among constituent elements for a ceramics superconductor or the compound in advance. Since the element low in the vapor pressure as Ba is convered on the substrate surface in advance by means of a chemical evaporation process, the time required for deposition of the constituent element of the ceramics superconductor is sharply shortened. With this constitution, such a ceramics superconductor film that is more than liquid nitrogen temperature in the critical temperature and high in critical current density Jc is effectively securable on the substrate.
