Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a chassis at low cost in such a way that its accuracy, its rigidity and its strength can be ensured.
CONSTITUTION: A mounting seat 11 which protrudes from one face side is formed in a chassis 1 which has been formed of a sheet metal, and the surface height of the mounting seat 11 is reduced to a prescribed height from a reference face by a high-spin plastic working operation in which a punch 5 performing a conical vibration motion is pressed to the surface of the mounting seat 11.
