Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of processes by applying a coating material of given viscosity on a design surface of an injection molding die coated with a release agent preliminarily, injecting an olefin or styrene thermoplastic elasto mer within a given time and molding.
CONSTITUTION: A coating material, the flowing time of which is 10-30 seconds in the viscosity measurement using a Ford cup No. 4 based on JIS-K5400, is applied on a design surface of an injection molding die coated with a release agent preliminarily. Then, an olefin or styrene thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) is injected into a mold within 10 minutes after applying the coating material and molded. The olefin or styrene TPE is provided with flexural modulus of 5000kg/cm2 or less based on JIS-K7203. As the coating material, a urethane coating material can be used. As a release agent, a silicone release agent can be used.
